At the Solar Energy and Combustion Lab at SDSU I am working on a Carbon Particle Disperser. In laboratory experiments as well as in a future Small Particle Receiver, a gas-particle suspension is needed.

The mass loading and size distribution of particles in gas must be controllable and repeatable. Therefore an existing particle disperser is characterized so that it can be further improved and run with various particle sizes.

As I am usually concerned with a different field of engineering, this is a welcome insight into another approach to renewable energy.
